One Tree Hill Podcast: "Week Go By Like Days"

Listen Now

The One Tree Hill folks are back with an extended Haley James Scott music video! Oh, fine, there's also some plot interspersed between the songs -- Jamie alienates his friends (and us), Brooke and Julian continue their star-crossed lovers schtick, Alex gets an annoying counterpart in Alexander, Victoria developed a soul, and, hmm, let's see, what else.... oh yeah, Taylor shows up and she's dating Quinn's ex-husband! So tacky, so evil, so utterly delicious...

Darcel and I discuss plans for Jamie, wishes for Millie, dynamite idea for a reality series, and some pretty awesome pics that have us salivating for the ep after next.... Check it out!

NOTE: We stand corrected, thanks to Tam, Violet and Ed in the comments. Bethany WAS singing her own songs -- or the songs of her other band. Thanks for the heads-up!

Loved the podcast but just remembered that Deb had the locks changed on Dan back in season one - keep up the great work girls:)

In this podcast you said that Hayley was just singing other people's songs. You are mistaken. She & another girl have a band in real life, they are called Everly. They are awesome, check them out on iTunes!!

I just finished watching 7.14 After years of wondering we find out that in fact there are locksmiths in Tree Hill! All these years Peyton, Lucas, Nathan, Deb all had open doors letting anyone in!

loved your podcast! You have some crazy ideas, girls!
About the songs Joy performed: only "We belong" is a cover, the others are Everly songs (Joy and her stage partner Amber, I think) and onother one “Never Gonna Be” is an original Bethany Joy Galeotti from her un-released album when she had a contract with don't remember what label. That's why in S5&6 we heard only "Feel this", a song from her husband's band. All the other songs from her couldn't be used. Now they can and it looks like they love to do it!

The songs sung by Bethany Joy Galeotti were all her own except We Belong.

The Girl In The Moon and Flying Machine-credited Everly. That's Joy and her partner Amber.

Never Gonna Be-Joy's song she recorded for Epic records a while back.

Everly covered We Belong at the request of Joe Davola.
