One Tree Hill: Oh Baby, Do We Have A Lot To Look Forward To!
In the promo spot Lucas tells Peyton, “If you have this baby, you could die.” Given the cryptic (or maybe not-so-cryptic) video message from HB last week, this could be curtains for Peyton! Looks like Peyton will have to choose between her life and the baby’s.
And as all OTH fans know, Peyton is a giver.
But forget about Lucas and Peyton for just a minute. We are now hearing that Nathan and Haley’s relationship may be headed for trouble before too long. According to TV Guide, Nathan’s ultimate dream will be realized when he’s offered the chance to play professional ball…in Europe! Naturally, as bad timing goes, he’ll get the offer just as Haley’s music career gets a jump start from guest star Nick Simpson…er…Lachey.
IF Lucas and Peyton are headed out the door it will definitely open up some screen time. And hey, friends and fans, keep in mind that this is an ensemble show! Let’s also not forget that there were two Scott brothers who were feuding on the basketball court when the show first began and if Lucas splits we’ll still have Nathan.
Our very own Nathan (AKA James Lafferty) was just named as one of TV’s Most Eligible Bachelors of 2009 by Buddy TV. While some of the selections maaay be a bit questionable (Ben Foster? Really? Clearly they didn't see "Alpha Dog"), we think that Nathan has been in Lucas’ shadow, storyline wise, for far too long and would be pleased as punch to see him get more camera time. Note to the powers that be over there at OTH: We won’t hate it if there are more scenes with a shirtless Nathan.
We’re just sayin’.
And finally, we’d just like to inject a bit of reality into the whirling dervish of rumor and speculation. No one is cleaning out their dressing room just yet. There are a lot of games that are played during the dreaded contract negotiations. There’s a darn good chance that every single cast member will be on set when they start shooting season seven. And all these sleepless nights (yeah, we admit, we have been missing some zzzzz’s) will be for nothing.
What do you think? Is all this worrying for nothing?

I agree,Haley should have more screening time. I would be so crushed if One Tree Hill didn't have Lucas or Peyton because it would not be the same at all. Lucas is basically the reason for One Tree hill, and he's deeply influenced Haley,Nathan, Peyton, Brooke, Mouth and Skills. Everyone loves him and for him to be gone and Peyton! Where will the drama be then? Whose gonna watch One Tree hill then..and where will the show go..It just would NOT be the same without Peyton and Lucas..

I can't see One Tree Hill without Lucas! :(
I've been an HUGE and avid fan of the show since the pilot first aired, and I feel that One Tree Hill began with Nathan and Lucas and SHOULD end with Nathan and Lucas in the picture if season 7 is in any way going to be the last season of the series...
Yes, with CMM and Hilarie out of the picture, it will indeed give the other characters more screen time, but One Tree Hill isn't One Tree Hill without them... in fact, the show wouldn't be "One Tree Hill" without the 5 original cast: Nathan, Lucas, Haley, Brooke and Peyton!
As hard as it is for me to say this but if CMM and Hilarie are finished, then I think One Tree Hill should be too!
As I said ... it WOULDN'T be the same without them.

i hope its for nothin - but Hil's vid is way to cruel of a ploy for it to be anything. Plus mark loves his characters - so to have her die off or something would be out of character (pun indentded) - anyhoo hope its resolved soon - i need my sleep!! xox

Haley Haley Haley Haley! Gosh. She's done nothing. Not that I wish fictional Haley bad or anything, but I kind of wish this school paper thing maybe turns into something big just so she'll have some plot of her own to work with.
As for people leaving, this next ep seems very Peyton and Lucas centric, so I will wait to see how this goes to see what I think. I just don't know.

OMG more Nathan screentime?? I've been bored to death with Nathan and his bully team mates. Give Haley more screentime. Give her something else to do than being a cheerleader for all the people around her, give her a real story line!!!
This is going to sound so not nice, but I'm really looking for some good drama for Lucas and Peyton though!!
I'm very pumped for next week's episode!!!!!!!!

More Nathan time? Seriously?!? This whole season have been the Nathan show with the never ending comeback. I'm sick of watching him dunk. Give Haley something please. And what's with people thinking that Hilarie wasn't serious? It seems like some denial going on. The girl was about to cry on the video, I don't know how her sincerity is being questioned.
