My friend and I just watched the first three episodes and so far she only likes Whitey. :)

I can't wait for her to listen to you guys, she be hooked.

I love Brooke with Mouth because she was different with him because she wasn't "trying too hard". She was more herself and I think her friendship with mouth is one of the better ones as a whole.

Wow... the nastiness to poor Nathan. I agree he's not perfect and it's a little annoying how he keeps getting off the hook... but common... he's not the yellow-eyed demon! (wrong show, but still).

I anjoyed this episode. it was cute and the well acted through-out.
Great podcast and no Lucas bashing! It was a treat=p He was quite a geek walking out there with his hands in his pockets.

SO I am a Haley fan. And I totally agree that Haley should be let of the hook for the whole Chris thing. Nathan has done far worse. BUT. yes Nathan was flirting with Peyton, but he also realized it was wrong AND I do not think that the kiss meant ANYTHING.

Great podcast girls. You always have me cracking up and the eyeliner thing with Nikki so true. In the next episode it is so funny to because when she is nice she has no eyeliner and when she is a bitch she has LOTS of eyeliner. Peyton even points it out. So funny.

The couples comparison was good but considering how minor a role Larry really ends up playing in the show, I never really considered it. This is how I always saw it-

Peyton is to Lucas what Dan was to Karen and Brooke is his Keith. Peyton, much like Dan, is the high school love that everyone expected, the one that everyone remembers while Keith, like Brooke, is the one that always ends up heartbroken and forgotten. Dan brings Karen pain, like Peyton does to Luke. Keith is the one there to pick up the pieces even though he's hurting himself, just as Brooke always seems to be there for Luke.

As much as I don't agree with your theory (minus the part about Keith being all like let's-get-married-even-though-we-haven't-talked-in-forever cuz that's so Leyton), the only good thing that could come from your theory is that Peyton, being Keith, may soon have to go far far away from us all... and though I was heart broken when it happened to Keith, something tells me that I wouldn't much miss Peyton... harsh, I know, but what can I say?

I wanted to address some of the comments about us not discussing Haley's tattoo. I agree it's an important storyline -- there was just so much else going on this episode that we completely forgot to mention it. We should have. Sorry about that! But we do talk about it in next week's podcast when Nathan sees it (!), so the topic will be addressed very soon...

I hated this episode and I hated how it was promoted (with Nathan going at it with his ex). I hated how Nathan suffered no consequences for his actions. I just hated it all. I felt SO bad for Haley. She took such a risk and if only she knew what Nathan did behind her back, she would have dumped him.

I really wish Haley would have saw the Nathan and Peyton kiss instead of Lucas because then she would have probably broke up with him for being a cheating jerk who still had feelings for his ex. He would have just proved everyone who said bad stuff about him right. He is a horrible person who doesn't care about people's feelings and he might as well had sex with Peyton.

At least there would have been greater fallout (because it's one stupid scene in the next episode and then nothing). I mean here's Haley pouring her heart out to her best friend about being so in love with Nathan, and then he sees Nathan completely going at it with his ex behind her back. I just...I really wish NH would have broke up here. They could have gotten back together later maybe. I don't know.

This was the episode that started my problems with Nathan as a character. He's just completely disrespectful of Haley and it's such nonsense that he'd use the whole "midnight kiss rule" as a way of legitimately cheating on her. Nathan just doesn't deserve her and I hate how Nathan's always lets these other whores try to get him. He was supposedly already in love with Haley and this is how he treats her? Whatever. Looking back, I wish they would have ended things after this episode more than ever.

Of course, no one will ever let Haley forget the whole Chris/tour Season 2 debacle, but nothing will ever compare to how Nathan kisses every chick that comes across his path and does hurtful things, but that's all excused because either "he's hot", "he's flawed" or "Well, Haley kissed Chris. She deserves it". Whatever.

As for Peyton, this episode showed how weak she can be when it comes to other guys, especially Nathan. I really do want to like her, but you just can't trust her.

But whatever...you can't change the past and James/Joy have too much chemistry to not be paired together no matter how much I've grown to detest Nathan now.

Amazing episode and wonderful podcast. You are absolutely right about Keith/Karen, Lucas/Peyton. The two couples are very unreactive, that is why many don't enjoy watching them. Larry was just such fun to watch and Karen was really enjoying herself, instead of the usual worrying.

The next episode is totally Brucas. I absolutely love it. And they are both aiming at each others throats! LOL. Very interesting.

Also a good episode for NH.

And just wait till you see Andy in season 2. You caught a glimpse of him in season 5, but season 2 is the real deal! Andy is the guy for Karen. I'm glad they found their ways back to each other in the end.

Kinda disappointed you ladies didn't get into the Naley story line. I know the whole "I think I'm pregnant" bomb at the end was big, but what about Haley's tattoo? That's one of my favorite scenes between Haley and Lucas because for once it's about Haley.

i am really sad beacause you didn't even mention haleys tatto and you didnit talk about haley telling lucas that she loves nathan . how you can't talk about that i am really really sad and you didn't talk about haley going crazy when nathan get shirtless and she made petyon bid on him and how hot he was. he was really hottttttttttttt. and when petyon teasea haley and tell her that what he used to say befor we had sex and haley felling uncomforbal and worried i think u didn't talk about haley at all and i am sad for that and i am really disappointing in that because i really waited for that episode so please pay more attention on nathan and haley more plzzzzzzzzzzz

great podcast but i have to agree with chloe...i cant believe that you guys skipped over haley getting a tattoo of nathan jersey number and that great conversation between haley and lucas about it!!! i was really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on that and they weren't their :(

Yet another episode i loved. hehe can you guys imagnine Deb and Tim's goodnight kiss. I think Mia is right. Jake should let Nikki see Jenny but under Jake's terms. Weird I never looked at the two love triangles like that. As Lucas is Karen where as Keith is Peyton and Brooke is Larry. Hope you're back again this week

You ladies are really funny! Haley is not into Lucas, Mia...ok.lol.
Keith really has bad timing. I've been thinking about what you guys say about LP compairson to KK and I have came to the conclusion. I think Dan and Karen are like Brooke and Lucas. Ok now your going to think im crazy. But no, when DK were together, they were happy, complete opposites and then dan screws it up. kinda like BL. KK just together and complain, brood and talk about their pain. kinda like LP. i would talk more about my theory, but i would only be able to with jackie, because she has seen all the episodes.

I really wished you guys talked about Lucas and Haley conversation. Haley got a tatto and said she loved nathan and you guys completly skipped over that. its like one week, your saying bring on the haley storyline and when she gets one, you forget to talk about it. I love you girls, so no worries but maybe you can address it later. :)

lastly, how do we send you guys stuff? theres this fanfic thats a parody of oth S1 and I promise you, that you'll love it... let me know somehow....

Larry is Karen's Brooke and Keith is her Peyton. Very interesting and perfect. Wonderful observation.

Okay. Im back. Great podcast as always girls! And Im so happy that I didn't have to wait till wednesday. These podcasts need to come more often. I really enjoy listening to them!

Brooke and Mouth were cute together in this episode. He's really a true friend to Brooke and that's one of the reasons Im not bothered by the Mouthness. He's always supported Brooke and I feel like they're much better friends than Peyton and Brooke. No matter how much they'll shove the BP friendship down my throat I don't think I can ever support it. It's just fake. Brooke it the giver, Peyton is the taker. Though I know Brooke has made some mistakes too, but I think Peyton's mistakes are worse than the ones Brooke might have done!

Overall a great episode in my opinion. And the next one is heartbreaking, as the hardcore Brooke fan I am, I cried buckets.

Are you guys gonna talk about the Leyton figthing words thing you guys got going on? Haha!

I get what you say about Lucas being boring all hands in pockets and everythin. I mean MOVE BOY!! And Nikki being annoying, I really hated her! And her eyeliner!

The Haley/Lucas date was very cute, with the water balloons filled with flour.

the Nathan Peyton kiss, I think they were both confused. Their relationship was very angsty and they only stayed together for some unknown reason. but here they are hanging out like we'd never seen them before and they were having fun like old friends. I think they must have subconsciously been wondering if they had approached their relationship in a different way maybe they would have lasted longer? Or at least been happy while they lasted!
