Gossip Girl Podcast: The Wild Brunch -- How Wild Was It?
We're back with a new Gossip Girl podcast! In this week's episode, Sarah, Mia, and I discuss Nate's free pass in the Serena/Blair wars, Dan's occasional bouts of self-righteousness, the many merits of an Upper East Side brunch, and the surprising disposability of Serena's cell phone.

Okay. So, it's almost time for next Feb. 12's episode, but I just got around to listening to last weeks podcast and I thought it was kind of bitter-sweet, if you will.
I love the comments about the friendship between Brooke and Peyton. It's so apparent that this relationship is one of the strongest on the show. However, what I've noticed in the past seasons is that when the two seem to be the closest---BAMM, something tragic happens to them. Naley's wedding rehearsal, anyone?? "Brooke, I think I still have feelings for Lucas..." and down they fall. Their friendship, however, is resilient in that they've clearly proven to be a strong force and ultimately unbreakable. However, it's been on Brooke's terms. Peyton is the one (usually) to screw up besides the whole Nathan/Brooke disaster in Season 4. Brooke's heart has been broken repeatedly by Lucas and Peyton, and yet she somehow always forgives them. Ultimately, I think it's Peyton's turn. It's clear that the Lucas Peyton relationship escalates in the upcoming episodes. However, I suspect a library/motel scandal between Lucas and Brooke in the near future. Especially considering the obvious foreshadowing in previous episodes. It's about to get really steamy in Wilmington, Whatch out!!
