Crowned Recap: Sincere and Sexy -- Questionable. Talented -- We Beg to Differ

We must say, we are in shock over last night's Crowned episode. The dismissal of the Goal Getters proves that this competition isn't only about beauty but apparently teamwork and *cough* talent.

After saying goodbye to the Tomboy Queens last week, the girls started this week's episode learning some choreographed movements and getting some "trust training". The mothers and daughters started out sitting back to back with their arms interlocked and were asked to stand as a team. While most had no problems, Patty and Laura seemed as though they might never get off the ground (which proved to be some of the funniest moments of the show so far). Their legs were bent pretzel-style, and at one point it looked like Laura was going to pull Patty up and over her back, only to face-plant into the concrete. Eventually, they disqualified themselves from the competition by pulling their arms apart in order to stand, which left both of the Reds a bit peeved.

The next portion of the trust workshop was to stare into each other's eyes for thirty seconds and not break contact. It's no shocker that Gina had to break out the waterproof mascara -- it seems like her womb aches every time she looks at Hollis. Don't forget to pass the Kleenex to Rachelle, Mindy, Jenileigh and Moya! The surprise winners of this competition were the Goal Driven Gals, Heather and Brenda.

Back at the mansion, Laura's 'tude got worse and worse. She told Patty to make her something to eat and then threw a tantrum when neither she or her mom knew how to work an oven. Seriously, though -- this is a joke, right? Usually there are things that say "on" and "off". What does Patty make her hamburger meat on? Does she just spoil herself with sliders from White Castle? This time Patty stormed off and told Laura to stop "speaking ugly" to her. While we were happy with this, we would've liked it more if Patty put the hurtin' on Laura and slapped that devilish smile off of her face.

Later on at the talent(?) competition, the mothers and daughters prepared a routine to entertain the judges in a way that showcased the talents of both contestants. Since Jill and Nicole spent more time arguing about their wardrobe than they did practicing their hula hooping, things went less well than planned. Hollis and Gina had some trouble harmonizing, and Hollis's voice overpowered Gina's lack of a voice. Christan and Ada performed an incredibly sexy burlesque routine which prompted Carson to exclaim, "Oh, my God; I'm not gay anymore! But then I thought, 'oh look at their shoes!'" Heather and Brenda did a comedy routine that was about as funny as a scientific lecture on photosynthesis.

Apparently real talent wasn't what they were interested in anyway (otherwise we believe Jenileigh and Moya should've taken this week's top rank). It seemed as though it were important to the judges that the mother/daughter team with equal amounts of lacking talent should win, just as long as they were both showcased. If this were not the case, how is it possible that the Sincere Sexy Reds won this week's challenge? Patty missed half of her notes, and Laura's voice makes us want to stick Brillo pads in our ears. Sure, give them some extra points for choosing teal as their outfit color, but is it really worth inflating their egos more than they already are inflated? For their special prize, can someone PLEASE teach them how to use an oven? Maybe one of the cabana boys can do it.

At the desashing ceremony, it was the Dream Gals and the Goal Getters in the bottom two. Ultimately, Jill and Nicole were desashed and Hollis (being Hollis) tried to refuse to do the cutting. While we love us some Dream Gals, we thought this was a little hokey. Next week's episode includes a "smile clinic," which we're guessing might be a challenge for the Botox-inclined of the group.

What did you think of this episode? Did you think the Sincere Sexy Reds should have won? Were you surprised that the Goal Getters were desashed?
