That Was Quick: Veronica Mars's Rob Thomas Already Leaving ABC Gig
Sounds like Rob Thomas's stint at Miss/Guided was short-lived -- he's left the show due to "creative differences" (but he's not leaving the network -- he's moving on to an ABC development deal). Thomas only signed on as executive producer for the ABC sitcom a month ago! And the Zap2it.com story isn't exactly forthcoming with the details. We'd love to know what went on behind the scenes. Speculation, anyone?

I think that this is the worst thing that has ever happened!!!!
I am soooo Mad!
That was the best show ever made and they just threw it away!
I think that they need to make more seasons, it is an inspirational show. It made me a better person and if Rob thomas see's this then "Please, Please make more!"
I know that you can think of more things. And veronica mars has got me through some tough times. And I think that it would be the best thing if you made more!
Please consider.

It didn't really seem like his kind of show. Now, if only he could head over to CBS and take over the reins of "Moonlight" now that David Greenwalt has left. He'd be great with that -- and Jason Dohring is there, too. It's be cool to have them working together again.

He probably realized that despite his creative talent, Miss/Guided was going to end up being just as much of a ratings failure as Veronica Mars. This guy deserved a hit show -- not just acclaimed ones watched by 12 people.
